HolidayRento does not provide refunds outside the terms of our cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or change your booking, the applicable conditions will depend on the reservation and the cancellation terms that applied when you booked.

A travel insurance policy with suitable cancellation cover may help reduce your financial loss if you are unable to travel because of an insured event. However, reimbursement is determined by the insurer, not HolidayRento, and claims are subject to the policy’s terms, exclusions, limits and excess.

For this reason, we recommend arranging insurance as soon as possible after confirming your accommodation. This gives you time to understand what is covered and whether the policy meets your needs.

When comparing domestic travel insurance, consider checking whether the policy covers:

1. Accommodation cancellation costs – Confirm the maximum amount payable and the situations that qualify.
